Were still counting the pennies but it looks like a record amount has been raised to be donated to HELP FOR HEROES. More than 550 people attended on a windy but warm night which was much better than the rain forecast so thank you everyone for coming along and supporting the event. Getting everything in place is quite a challenge each year. From securing the date and venue to getting sponsorship for some of the overheads to inviting suppliers and others to take part... its all a lot of work and a bit of a worry until everythings signed up but it looks like were there Once again were really grateful to HSBC and to our other key supporters whose help means we know we can afford to pay for the venue and marquees. So many people give their time expertise and products for free on the night in order that we can really do the best for our chosen charity which this year is HELP FOR HEROES. 2010-7-11 16:50:18
