Well we have a stunning night planned. Join Rui who will be ably assisted by Keiron for an unforgettable evening talking all things alcoholic from Portugal. We will be sampling some still wines before moving onto some examples of ports.
Originally from coastal Portugal, Rui’s journey in wine began among the vineyards, where his passion for winemaking and Portuguese heritage was first ignited. Today, as a WSET Diploma holder and wine judge at the prestigious International Wine Challenge.
With a wealth of expertise and a storyteller’s touch, Rui brings Portugal’s wine regions to life — from the steep schist terraces of the Douro Valley to the Atlantic-kissed hills of Vinho Verde and the sun-soaked plains of the Alentejo. His tastings highlight not just the wines themselves, but also the people, traditions, and terroirs that make Portugal one of the world’s most exciting wine destinations.
Expect an evening of discovery, insight, and enjoyment, guided by Rui’s deep knowledge and infectious passion for Portuguese wines.
