So, as many of you will already know from the conversations on the shop floor over the last fortnight…
TODAY IS OUR LAST DAY ON DIGBY ROAD!
At 2pm today, we’ll lock the door on our wonderful little shop that has given us and the community so much over the last 16 years! It’s going to be another one of those days where the fizz and tears will flow – for all the right reasons!
However, as you also know, we are moving onto BIGGER and better things in Sherborne, as it’s only a goodbye to the location of our little world of wine – not goodbye to Vineyards!!
WE ARE MOVING TO 9 OLD YARN MILLS, SHERBORNE DT9 3RQ
Just a few minutes walk from our current location and STILL in Sherborne!
Make sure you pop in today to stock yourself up for the next week as we will be closing at 2pm and will be working hard all week to get the new space ready for you – there’s a fair bit to do!
We are aiming to re-open next weekend (2nd Oct), so you don’t have long to wait, BUT we will confirm during the week depending on how progress goes. Our new space is HUGE, so you’ll be delighted to know that our shop area will hold 250 more wines (our biceps will let you know the difference that’ll make!)
The plans for the mezzanine wine lounge have taken a little longer than we had hoped, our steel structure has been delayed in transport – like many other things, so you will have to wait a little longer for our new and expanded ‘drink in’ area to materialise, but boy it’s going to be great when it does and we’ll keep you updated.
