Swartland Winery ‘Bush Vines’ Chenin Blanc from South Africa

This Chenin Is just flying out of our doors and no the Vineyards team isn’t drinking it all. Right now, you could say the Swartland region is one of the most exciting regions in South Africa. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks than they took 40% of the wine and put it into older French oak with the fine lees for six months. Citrus notes on the nose leads onto a richer style with subtle spice and a long butterscotch finish.

Château Moulin de Mallet from Bordeaux, France

This super little château is situated on the plateau of Pujol, facing the slopes of St Emilion. Made with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Always very expressive, it screams ripe black fruit aromas whilst the palate is full of succulent mulberry and plum fruits, supported by soft tannins.
